Crazy Curious Creatures

These Crazy Curious Creatures  were simply quietly living  their life in my mind and have recently escaped to the canvas.  Probably freeing up space for more such inhabitants!

The Crazy Curious Creatures

Anyone Know What's going on?

Who is in Charge?

In many ways I think they feel relieved to have escaped my mind. Perhaps the space was becoming overcrowded.

They obviously planned this trip as they are dressed and groomed to look their very best. Their head feathers, their eyes and colours seem brighter and more chic, suggesting they have made some effort to appear at their very best.

I love thiese birds they are so full of spirit and questions, yet seem very confident at the same time.

The Bird on the left hand side is a little tentative and has got one eye on his surrounds, wondering if all goes wrong can he go back to the safety although interminably boring space my mind.  Much like an never ending desert, whose only siign of life is the odd tumbleweed that rolls along in the wind.

The colours, their position in the painting helps to describe their characters. One timid, a couple have their world upside down, the one on the right hand side eager to join in and find out what’s going on and finally the leader in the middle who is getting a bit squished.

I hope this painting makes you feel happy and makes you laugh.

Owls on a VIP Mission

Here again are more of my friends, highly intelligent Owls, who are living their  best lives as if each one of them is a famous ‘Sleuth’.

Many of them modelling their characters’ on ‘Inspector Clusoe’.  They are not necessarliy all chasing a murderer, often it is far more mundane.

Currently these crazy creaures are sitting in my kitchen. It’s a place where I often lose things. I might have misplaced a knife or the salt and I am muttering to myself, where on earth is ti?

I can hear the Owls commenting”She’s lost it again” and then discussing the possibilities of where it might be that often results in a lengthy debate. When finally they reach a decison on where the item might be they turn around to see I have found it.

There is muttering but finally they settle down again to resume their musings on far grander subjects.

I love these little creatures, they make me smile.
